1. Choose a time when you can be free of worldly obligation and a place where you won't be disturbed.
2. Find or buy a set of comfortable, loose-fitting clothes to wear during your practice sessions.
3. If you eat prior to your practice sessions make sure it's only a light snack.
4. Use the restroom so you won't be interrupted during your session by the need to go.
5. Unplug the phone or turn off its ringer.
6. Remove all jewelry and any other item that may cut off circulation to body parts or cause discomfort.
7. After lying down to get comfortable, try not to pile on too many blankets. Afghans and other light coverings work great to keep one's body temperature at a comfortable level.
8. Make sure the position you choose to stay in during your session will allow blood to circulate throughout your entire body so arms, legs, and other body parts don't fall asleep while you're away.
